Winters air fools the one seeking the sun, while the chill freezes the soul, darkness fills the morning, dampness soaks into the bones, for night to night goes by with no day insight, melodies of harmony fill the mind while fear and dread fill the spirit, as the crow cries so do I, but to what morning shall bring hope that this devastating winter melts into a spring of hopeful summer, no stars to be seen in sky so dark and gray, no grass to feel beneath the feet of a weary traveler, no shelter from the storm, for all the trees are bare, no warmth from the wind for winter is here forever more.
