Paralyzed staring into the abyss, time flows like a river with no direction in mind, so much to see but nothing in sight, so much to hear but everything is muffled, lights are on but it is dark, classical music streaming as the news is on the tv in whisper mode, unaware to the world around, an hour goes, but where and how I just sat down, pain flowing through my body like poison filling my veins, trying to move but my body refused, staring into the abyss yet aware of what is here, lost moments and time, with no reason why, trying to reach for my coffee, realizing my cup is empty, yet I cant reach it, I cant get up to refill my cup, so often time stops for me, but never does it relieve me of this pain.
